We are a Christian church family seeking to follow Jesus, welcome people, serve our community and make room for the work of the Holy Spirit in everyday life.

Our mission

Following Jesus together

Sunderland Elim exists to help people know and follow Jesus, grow in Christian faith, build healthy community and serve our city with compassion.

Our weekly life centres on worship, Bible teaching, prayer and relationships. Alongside Sunday services we provide children’s and youth ministry, pastoral support, a weekly foodbank and opportunities to pray and connect.

What we do

Church life throughout the week

Our activities are designed to help people worship, grow, receive support and serve others.

We gather every Sunday at 11:00am for worship, Bible teaching and encouragement.
